Welcome to Goa Gay Passport

Goa - The most sought after gay paradise in India, is situated on the western coastal region of the peninsula. A small tiny state between the states of Maharashtra and Karnataka. It is famous for its sandy beaches, white churches, stimulating country wine (fenny) and never ending merriment and fun fiesta. People of the world can reach here direct by international flight to Dabolim airport - Vasco-da-gama or can take connecting flights from Mumbai, New Delhi, Chennai or Bangalore. There are several bus routes from various cities, but most traffic is from mainly Mumbai, Pune, Mangalore and Bangalore. If you are lucky enough, you will certainly get a like-minded companion in the bus too ;-p

Right from the top to the bottom of the state, the length of beach extends up to 110 Kms. And there are varieties of stay facilities available. Be it budget home/hostel, backpacker/adventure stay, beach huts/tents, boutique holidays/heritage stays or hotels/resorts/villa stays. Some of them are gay friendly, those who are not, follow the policy of "don't ask, don't tell." Surprise guests are always welcome. People of Goa are very friendly and can easily communicate in english. Addresses and directions can be asked by the locals and satisfactory replies can always be solicited.

Wide white, sandy, rocky too, beaches with bushes to hide inside are spread all over along the coastal stretch. From water sport persons to a few nude swimmers can be found having a gala time on its sea shore. Travelers meet with each others generally on the beaches while sun bathing or siting inside the shack(small hut type restaurants) to get some eatables and drinks. There are few beaches who are known as general crowed beaches( without nudity) while there are some branded as semi nude and nude beaches too. Hippy culture of 70's still exists in some of the north goan beaches like anjuna, vagator and arambole. Also there are few flea markets operating near some beaches. One can indulge himself also in drugs besides sun-sand-wine and merriment. But as intake of drugs is punishable crime in india one has to be cautious about getting into police harrassment. Most of the beaches offer varieties of services and entertainment ranging from casinos, live shows, rooms, bars, cafeterias, salon, massage parlors, shops, entiquities and last but not the least unisex fun time services too. There are full range of people who can be found on some beaches for an instant sex for money or without money too.

There are lot of clubs and cafes who are famous for its night life. Whether its inside the towns or on the beaches, the fire of the excitement is the same at both places. Discos and live shows light up the nights of visitors and guests. Few clubs arrange special weekend events also for the lgbt communities too. As much as goa is known for its beaches, the whispered local rave parties attract equal attention. Beach shacks or small beach joints are more popular in Goa rather than expensive restaurants and pubs. Most of these shacks serve alcohol (specially chilled beer) along with the other nutties and are open until late in the night. Rave parties or full moon parties are an accepted part of hippie culture with the local shacks in Goa passing around the necessary information. Not many details are handed out initially, to avoid getting into police harassment. Final particulars are made available just a few hours before the party starts. Drugs are freely made available besides stalls of snacks & tea arranged by the local women. You will get to experience “ravers” dressed in bright clothes and rave belts dancing to psy-trance music until the wee hours of the morning.

Parks are most visited places by the community people as there are more chances of meeting acquaintances for dating. Visit any park and sit alone for a while on a bench, and next minute you will find a dating companion siting beside you. Is not that so comfortable to easily get a mate than to sit for hours in net and get cheated by. Apart from the parks, the roadways in the market places, near cinemas, local eateries, bus stops, exhibitions and museums and other very famous sight seeing places like dauna-pola, miramar, places near ferry jetti, and inside the local city buses also travelers can find many like minded people to get along.
